What Will Be Stillwater's 2014 Summer Festival?

Watch here live on Tuesday, Oct. 15, starting at 7 p.m., as the Stillwater City Council considers proposals for a new summer festival to replace Lumberjack Days. 

It's a continuation of an Oct. 1 council discussion at which staff presented three finalists: 

  • Genius of Fun Events (St. Croix Falls and Minneapolis): The Spirit of Stillwater Celebration
The presentation of the proposals is the first item on the council's regular meeting agenda. Other items include: 
  • 2012-2014 Labor Agreement with the Stillwater Firefighter’s Association
  • Request by Corey Burstad on behalf of Stillwater Caves, LLC for TIF Assistance to redevelop the Joseph Wolf Block at and around 402 South Main Street
  • Technology Reimbursement Policy for Planning and Heritage Preservation Commission members
  • Beyond the Yellow Ribbon
