The rain and stairs at Pioneer Park were no match for the Solstice Stair Stompers who set out on a mission Tuesday night to raise money arts and science in the Stillwater area schools.
The rain stopped and the sun came out Tuesday evening just in time for dozens of Solstice Stair Stompers to trek the and take in some local music.
The Partnership Plan sponsored the first Solstice Stair Stomp at to raise funds for arts and science in Stillwater area schools.
When the hard work of stomping stairs was through, those attending the event enjoyed fresh fruit, ice cream and local music.
