Fireworks and Music on Tap for the Fourth of July Celebration in Stillwater

The city of Stillwater is planning a big Fourth of July celebration.

Fireworks over the St. Croix River will begin at about 10 p.m. Thursday, July 4. Music will be simulcast at 1220 AM.

In the case of heavy rain, the alternate date is Saturday, July 6.

A VIP section will be set up at the Pedestrian Plaza for the Fourth of July fireworks for veterans and their families. This will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, so if you have anyone interested contact Stillwater Beyond the Yellow Ribbon.

There will also be concerts in two city parks:

  • Starting at 7 p.m. the Dakota Valley Pops Orchestra will perform in Lowell Park.
  • Starting at 7 p.m., the St. Croix Jazz Orchestra will perform in Pioneer Park.

The concerts are sponsored by Cub Foods and Andersen Windows. The fireworks display is sponsored by the City of Stillwater, City of Oak Park Heights and the Margaret River Fund.
