Stillwater Lift Bridge Schedule for the Fourth of July
Boaters and other water traffic on the St. Croix River will experience delays after 10 p.m. on the Fourth of July as the Stillwater Lift Bridge will remain in the down position at 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Boaters on the St. Croix River will experience delays after 10 p.m. on the Fourth of July as the Stillwater Lift Bridge will remain in the down position at 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.
"The Minnesota Department of Transportation, in cooperation with the US Coast Guard and the City of Stillwater, has elected to keep the lift span down to accommodate an anticipated increase in vehicular traffic after the Independence Day celebrations," a news release from MnDOT reads.
The 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. lifts will still take place.
