Stillwater's New Summer Festival: See All Four Presentations
As the Stillwater City Council gears up to make its final selection Nov. 7, have a look at each proposal to replace Lumberjack Days.
Here are all four presentations on a new summer festival to take the place of Lumberjack Days. The Stillwater City Council heard the first three on Oct. 15 and the fourth on Oct. 29:
- Filo Productions (St. Paul)
- Genius of Fun Events (St. Croix Falls and Minneapolis)
- Mid-America Festivals Corp. (Shakopee)
- The Locals (Stillwater)
City Administrator Larry Hansen told the St. Paul Pioneer Press he was "blown away" by The Locals' presentation; the full council will select one from among the four proposals at a special meeting Nov. 7.
